AI isn't coming for your job. It's coming for your tasks.

Ask almost anyone about artificial intelligence today and you'll hear the same quiet worry: is this coming for my job? Headlines don't help. One week AI replaces everyone; the next it's overhyped and nothing changes. Both stories are too broad to act on, because "will AI take jobs?" is the wrong question.
The better question is narrower and far more useful: which parts of my work will AI change, and what should I learn because of it?
Jobs are bundles of tasks
Almost no job is a single activity. A nurse charts notes, talks to patients, coordinates with doctors, and monitors vitals. An accountant gathers data, reconciles numbers, spots anomalies, and advises clients. AI is very good at some of those tasks and useless at others. So the honest answer to "will AI replace me?" is: it will change your task mix — automating a few, speeding up others, and making the human parts more valuable.
Once you see work as tasks, the fear turns into a to-do list. You stop asking whether to worry and start asking which two or three tasks to hand to AI, and which human skills to double down on.
Why most AI advice doesn't help
There's no shortage of "learn AI" content. But most of it is generic (a prompt course doesn't tell a teacher and a truck dispatcher what each of them should do), paywalled (the people with the least room to adapt often can't pay to prepare), and English-only (billions think and work in other languages).
